We believe that the Holy Bible is God’s Word. It is inspired, holy, and accurate. It is our infallible guide in all matters of life.
God the Father
We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, who is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. He exists in three Persons — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Though He is the Sovereign Ruler and Creator of all things, His love is also unfailing, grace is unmerited, and mercy is just.
We believe that God created Man in His image and likeness. But through Adam’s fall, mankind became sinners. As such, mankind has fallen short of His glory and have been separated from God.
We believe that only through our Lord Jesus Christ can we be reconciled back to God. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Word made flesh, the Son of God, born of the virgin Mary.
We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man and lived a sinless life. He lived, suffered and died on the Cross. He is the Saviour of the World who gave us eternal salvation by atoning for our sin on the Cross through His shed blood and death. He died, was buried, and was bodily resurrected from the dead and ascended to the right hand of God the Father as our Great High Priest, Advocate and Mediator, who intercedes for us.
We believe that eternal salvation is a free gift from God we receive by grace through faith in Lord Jesus Christ. God justifies the sinner on the basis of Christ’s righteousness alone, which is imputed to him by grace alone and which is received by faith alone. We are now adopted children of God who are continually justified by the blood of Christ which cleanses us totally from all our sins — past, present, and future.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that though Jesus Christ ascended to heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit to be our teacher and guide in all areas of our lives. The Holy Spirit lives in us. He blesses us with spiritual gifts and empowers us to yield the fruit of the Spirit.
We believe that water baptism is an outward act and declaration of faith that demonstrates a believer’s identification with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.
We believe that the Holy Communion is a celebration of Jesus’ death and our remembrance of Him.
We believe that because we now have a right standing with God, we have Christ’s inheritance and blessings as children of God. We now live a life knowing that we are unconditionally loved by God the Father, and that His favour and goodness follows us every day of our lives.
Preaching of the Gospel
We believe that as believers, we are called to preach the gospel and make disciples in all nations of the world.
The Second Coming
We believe that Jesus Christ will return one day in power and glory for His Bride — the Church of the living God and by Him all men will be judged.
